Refer students to appropriate Skill Builders to support them with challenges they indicate such as time management, stress management, achieving goals, resume writing, job search, etc.
Re-engage non-responsive students by referring them to CareerPrepped resources to see if this elicits a response.
Connect students in need of help with other students or alumni on CareerPrepped, for assistance with mentoring, answering questions, tutoring, carpooling, or any other issue where peers might be able to help out.
Consider having students join Skill Builders as supportive resources for an action-plan you want them to follow if they are underperforming academically or are on academic reporting.
Supplement or augment financial literacy programs with the following Skill Builders: Manage Personal Budget, Manage Credit, Manage Personal Debt, and Protect Identity
Create a “Student Leader” or “College Ambassador” volunteer program where participating students agree to welcome new students, be available to answer questions, give new students tours of the campus, or liaison on CareerPrepped to help new students make friends. Introduce newly enrolled students to “Student Leaders” or “College Ambassadors” on CareerPrepped.
